A great performer. Polar has built upon the Polar
S210 with the addition of computer communication via SonicLink to transfer the training data from the monitor to
your PC. This gives the user the added advantage to analyze data with the included Polar Precision Performance
Software.
- The all new updated S410 color now comes in an
all black soft, comfortable and waterproof wrist watch strap with a very classic looking deep blue metallic insert
in the center of the strap as well as around the perimeter of the face.
- Connection to computer: Polar S410 Wrist Receiver
records essential data for your training log. A training log makes it possible to plan future training and to define
the most suitable interval training for maximizing performance capacity.
- Downloading Training Data to a Computer: Polar
S410 offers an easy way to analyze training data by computer afterwards. It starts recording at a sampling rate
of 15 seconds up to 120 samples. When the memory is full, it is compressed and a longer averaging period is used
(30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, or 8 minutes) depending on the recording time. Maximum recording time
is 8 hours.

- The average heart rate per time period is
plotted as follows:
- every 15 seconds for workouts that are 30
minutes or less
- every 30 seconds for workouts that are 60
minutes or less
- every 1 minute for workouts that are from
60 to 120 minutes
- every 2 minutes for workouts that are 2 to
4 hours
- every 4 minutes for workouts that are from
4 to 8 hours
- You may continue exersicing with your heart
rate displayed on the monitor, however after 8 hours, the S410 memory is full and your heart rate will not be recorded.
- Sonic Link: To be able to transfer the recording
training information via sonic link and to analyze it with Polar Precision Performance Software, you need a PC
with a sound card and microphone (which is usually found in most computers-no additional items necessary to download).
- Uploading Setting From Computer: Polar S410
offers you the option of uploading your settings with Polar Precision Performance Software to the wrist receiver.
You are also able to set a user ID for easier recognition in multi-user situations. The monitor utilizes one complete
exercise storage file and five header files with 120 data points in the memory. The user may also note lap information.
The User enjoys easy storage and analysis of the exercises over a long period so progress is easy to check. Advanced
technology also ensures there is enough memory for storing all your exercising information. The monitor may also
be attached to a bike.
- Sampling Rate vs' Exercise Time Available:
15 second sample rate=30 minutes, 30 second sample rate=30 minutes to 1 hour, 1 minute sample rate=1-2 hours, 2
minute sample rate=2-4 hours, 4 minute sample rate=4-8 hours, and 8 minute sample rate=8-16 hours.
